www.realtor.ca has determined through
surveys that over 90% of all home buyers in Canada now use the
Internet to help find homes. |
Further surveys have determined that buyers want to view photos and
videos of the homes they are interested in. Home buyers want
visual information, not textual. Because of computer
limitations the Kamloops real estate board only allows a
REALTOR® to publish 9 photos of a home and they do not offer any
video or other cyber/internet touring services. CREA does
offer it's REALTORS® the ability to link a listing from
realtor.ca to
another website. This is where the website your are now on,

STILL
PHOTO TOURS |
My still photo tours typically contain several dozen of photos of each
home. I shoot each room from at least four angles and also include
photos of features of each room. All of the photos are scaled
and drop shadowed for fast Internet loading and maximum 'eye appeal'.
Some times I'll re-shoot homes many times to get our photos just the
way I want them. Our digital cameras I use for our
photos are of a professional quality and equipped with wide angle
lenses designed for real estate work. |
My streaming video tours are in essence, a video commercial... similar
to a TV commercial for your home. Instead of watching the
commercial on
TV the buyer can watch from any computer equipped with
high speed internet. The video-mercials we produce are usually 4-6
minutes in length and they provide the ultimate touring experience.
Within our production studio we encode all of the digital effects
you normally see on TV ads... digital wipes and fades, background
music and voice-over narratives. I encode our videos using the
latest compression algorithms which allow for smooth streaming over
the Internet and
maximum viewing pleasure. Please do not confuse our videos
with 360 degree spin around tours which are normally quite distorted (fish eye
lens effect). |

TALKING TOURS |
My Talking Tours are designed to
run at the same time as the still photo tours I provide. The
Talking Tours are an audio stream or sound only. Talking Tours run in a
separate program called Windows Media Player. By running the
Talking Tour and then viewing the still photo tour I guide
interested people through the photographs by talking about, and
describing the rooms and features of your home. |
Panoramic Multi Media Slide Show tours are designed for slower internet
connections. Incorporated into the slide show are photographs of the
exterior and interior of the home. The slide offer a visual
panning effect plus digital wipes and dissolves between each
feature. The 2-3 minute presentations have background
music and some narrative voice-overs. |

"DRIVE-TO" MAPPING TECHNOLOGY |
My mapping service links your home's location directly to Google Mapping,
including street level photos if available.
This allows a buyer to see exactly where your home is located and
the buyer can also get exact driving directions with turn by turn
instructions to your address. Buyers can also find drive
times IE How long would the drive from this address to Thompson
Rivers University be? |
I have designed our website not to 'trap' or invade the privacy
of home buyers. I never ask for
any personal information such as email addresses or phone numbers in
order to
gain access to the photo and video tours.
Surveys I have conducted indicate home buyers are reluctant to give out
this information, because in many cases it leads to unsolicited
telephone calls from REALTORS®. I pride myself on providing the best tours
I can and believe that buyers who can appreciate the work we do
will contact us if they want to work with us. |

several hours to complete. Our ability to create and produce
the entire site 'in house' without paying expensive third party
